Yes, them - psychiatrists and GPs - "we never said there was a chemical imbalance"... oh really....? (16 more where these came from, X allows max of 4 added 4 pics).

Chemically imbalance theory all over again: 'In depression, there is a deficiency of serotonin being sent to the receiving cell'. Not true and very sad. When will this stop? @joannamoncrieff
No benefit? Fine. "When I counsel patients on their antidepressant medication, I routinely ask, "Is this working for you?"...I often hear: "I guess it is, but then again, I don't really feel any different." ... that's not a bad answer for me to hear..."

IGJ liet dat bedrijven die op verzoek van de sector voor oplossingen zorgen door de zorgverzekeraars niet worden beloond maar bestraft. RvS laat nu weten dat partijen zich aan de wet en hun eigen regels moeten houden.

niet helemaal juist, in het Financieel Dagblad wordt goed uitgelegd dat de zorgverzekeraars dit probleem zelf over zich hebben afgeroepen, door een bedrijf dat voor een oplossing zorgde daarvoor te straffen:
Het is natuurlijk geen bon ton om iets lelijks te zeggen van zo’n belangrijk college van geleerde mensen met deze uitspraak, maar dit is echt totaal onwerkbaar en zot. @MinVWS @de_specialisten

Such an important paper on the lacking knowledge about discontinuing psychiatric medications. I hope that researchers and academic leaders will read it and act upon. Me for my part I have a project underway that addresses some of these questions:

het is altijd makkelijker om de schuld bij anderen te leggen dan om zelf verantwoordelijkheid te nemen, helaas
Datafetisjisme rond wachtlijstgegevens in de #ggz . Door @VGZ bij VU besteld onderzoek lijkt vooral bedoeld om angel uit ingrijpen door de NZa @Zorgautoriteit te halen. Noodzaak nu exacte omvang wachtlijsten te weten is niet relevant voor oplossing.
