Canada banned guns yesterday and today they banned sentences of life without parole.
I think they’re onto something.
The Supreme Court of Canada unanimously strikes down what are effectively life without parole sentences, requiring that even those convicted of the worst crimes be eligible for parole after a maximum of 25 years.
