Even after over 23 years service, you come across things that you struggle to comprehend. Like yesterday when some great fast track work from the team identified a recently stolen caravan being towed by a vehicle on false plates, but then to find the driver was only 11 years old!

After a 12 hour shift, the last thing I expect is my colleague to have to visit A&E after a suspect bit him & spat in officers faces during arrest in #Harrogate The individual is now in custody for numerous offences & thankfully my colleague is safely home #ProtectTheProtectors

When you haven’t seen your 96 year old nan since Feb due to #COVID19 & she lives 300 miles away. In that time she has moved into a care home for more support & today (albeit from behind a screen) I got to see her Today is definitely a good day #HappyFriday #NansRock #Nonagenarian
