Winter Drink & Drug driving campaign we have arrested a further 93 drivers. 46 for Drug Driving, 41 for Drink Driving & 6 for failing or refusing to provide a specimen.
Total now of 166 arrests since 1st December (more than 10 per day).

If you fail the test, you will be arrested. If convicted, you could lose your licence, your job and possibly go to jail. Is it really a risk worth taking?

UPDATE: A nine-year-old boy has sadly died following an incident on a football field shortly after 5.05pm today. Although enquiries are still ongoing, we believe the boy was struck by lightning. Our thoughts are with the boy's family at this sad time. School Road has reopened.
