I’m not a military expert but I don’t understand why Somaliland army wears green camouflaged uniforms meant for thick grass lands when 99.99% of battle takes place in deserted land.

It’s not in Zeila and has nothing to do with Somalia and it wasn’t the 15th century. They belonged to the great grandfather of the first Somaliland president (Tuur) Sharmarke Ali Saleh who was born in the 18th century in Maydh under the Isaaq sultanate.
