Whilst I didn't win last night, we ran a positive campaign about the change Labour could bring to the country and to #Bromley and #BigginHill. I want to thank all residents who put their trust in me and all members and friends who gave up their time to door knock and leaflet 1/2.
Congratulations to @OanaOlaru92 who ran a brilliant campaign in a short space of time and got to within around 300 votes of the Conservatives in Bromley and Biggin Hill. It's been great campaigning alongside you 🌹.

It is an honour to join @LewishamCouncil's Cabinet and work towards making Lewisham a safer place for all and continue the pioneering work on the Borough of Sanctuary. This also marks a personal milestone- being the first Romanian appointed as a Cabinet Member in the UK 🙂.

A pleasure to be part of this campaign. I believe every resident, no matter where they are from, should have the right to vote. As a Romanian in the UK, I've been disenfranchised on many occasions- including in the EU referendum, which directly impacted my life. @lewishamlabour.
