Polls show the federal race tightening which of course is to be expected given that the Liberals were at a nadir before Prime Minister Trudeau announced his resignation. If these polls are accurate, the Conservatives still have a considerable lead—one that still likely produces a majority government if elections were held today. Looking forward, if somehow the Liberal Party pulled off a surprising win, it would have two big implications. One, it would be a sign that Canadian democracy’s self-correcting mechanism is malfunctioning. The government’s massive failure on the immigration file alone justifies an electoral defeat if for no other reason than to induce a policy correction within Liberal politics. Two, it would raise bigger questions about the federal electoral system. if the Conservatives win the popular vote for the third consecutive elections and still don’t form government, it would ostensibly cause a lot of Canadians—particularly in Western Canada—to question if there’s something structurally flawed about the system.

Thanks Diane. This tariff deal causing a lot of angst here.
I also don’t want to follow back all these accounts from another country. I made that mistake once and then I was slammed with lots of accounts from the same country. If I don’t understand your language then why would I follow you? So please go follow someone else. I am only following patriots from my country or Canada as we are great neighbors. I do follow patriots from Britain or Brazil if they speak English.

Permian Q4 Trends: Well Completions down DUC Inventory down Oil Production from New Wells down = indicators that Permian production is likely declining today and needs more activity just to maintain flat supply. No #drillbabydrill is occurring. #OOTT

It’s a great way to see how well you function. When I did the VO2 max test in Oct 24 preliminary to the study for parkinson’s I achieved 10 more BPM than my 80 % rate for my age. Will do it again on April 4. Interested to see the result.
Exercise capacity (VO2max) is strongly associated with better health and longer lifespan, and declines with age. About half of this decline is due to loss of muscle mass, which happens in aging if you do nothing about it. You must build muscle for long life and good health.

I see merit in this. Equalization is a function of persons income tax collection and distribution federally. Collected PIT at home. Tough to do with out a change in govt and assent of a majority of the provinces, I believe
The ONLY way Alberta can stick up for itself is to do what Quebec does , manage all the taxes , pensions Police . That way when Quebec gets ignorant such as suggesting there is no social conscience for pipeline we can withold all tax dollars .
