While I agree with you, it didn’t matter who was on stage to a lot of folks.. People have a tendency to generalize things that they dont care about… Rappers- Gangsters who only talk about killing, drugs, sex. Country- Hicks that only talk about beer, trucks and dirt roads. Obviously not every song is about these topics but it’s viewed that way from people that aren’t fans of the genre.
