@droidxmom Asked my cat the same thing and got the same answer. We really underestimate cats’ capabilities

@JessiGinFox @ThatHenryGuy22 @drumsheds Was it worth going/better the other times? Because everything about last night was terrible from sound to lighting to the obvious. Is it worth going again?

@TheBMA @wesstreeting seemed to really get it when he came to @rcgp annual conference this year. So sad that he clearly doesn’t. Pleased that he has already agreed to come next year but I would recommend he prepares for a frostier reception. If there are any GPs left to attend that is.

@IncogAssociate @rcgp Well MRCGP is made up of 3 parts. 2 ‘exams’ and then the other little bit is minimum 3 years worth of continuous workplace based assessment. Which requires a medical degree to commence. So if a PA did all that that would mean that they are both a doctor and a GP.

@PatrickMackle4 @RobLaurensonD4P Great questions, and I’m no expert (not even close), but the officers in my experience follow RCGP governance and constitution. I know that Kamila has met several times with Wes and will be passing along the direct outcomes from council. RCGP isn’t a union, there is separation.

@9nzmwjkxmyP @rcgp I think that Kamila has consistently represented the views of her council members, no matter what her prior experiences. Even as a cynic, I’m very proud to have her as our chair.

@PatrickMackle4 @rcgp I think we should be lobbying to remove the system of ARRS entirely. Good practices know what we need. In my practice, a physio right now would add so much. We wouldn’t benefit from other roles right now. Let us choose. (Also GPs aren’t additional roles in a GP practice)

@RobLaurensonD4P @rcgp @TheBMA @AnaesUnited @gmcuk I think that presenting a motion to council would be the best way to raise this. It’s a shame you weren’t yet a member when we debated the PA guidance paper. I think you would have appreciated the professional discussion and discord.

@wesstreeting @rcgp Thanks for speaking openly and honestly. I enjoyed your speech and I know the college have enjoyed actually having a dialogue with government in contrast to the last few years.

@DrVoles @wesstreeting I thought he sounded like he (mostly) got it and was very supportive of us
