Ian Thomson is a wonderful bassist & a great guy. And, along with pretty much all the others in this loop, a dear mate of mine Change happens, so I'm sending love and cheery vibes to all the #Lindisfarne family "Useless it is to question things concerning the past" Onwards 🙏
And so we bid a very fond farewell to the great Ian Thomson, our masterly bassist who has sailed in ship Lindisfarne these past three decades. Thank you, Ian, for the years, the companionship and all the music.

@rod_clements @iEatFossils Agree.. Oh to have made an album that -as you rightly say - isn't one's greatest but still has "Chimes Of Freedom" "To Ramona" and "My Back Pages" on it, Sigh.

@heathensquirrel @Sallystardust1 I agree.. saw it yesterday. Completely different aspirations than "I'm Not There", it's a great film in its own right. Took my 2 teenage sons to see it, they were engrossed . And TC is amazing ❤️
