Africa is arguably the continent that needs blockchain innovation the most, as it faces some of the biggest financial challenges: high transaction fees, broken financial systems, exclusion from the global digital economy, high inflation, rapid currency depreciation against the Euro & the Dollar, and more. Blockchain’s core purpose should be to solve real-world problems, and that’s exactly why we are building Starknet. Now, we’re going bigger to empower African entrepreneurs and builders with everything they need to create blockchain-based startups in Africa.
