Insane run of poor injury luck for Finland 🇫🇮 ahead of #4Nations: Nikolas Matinpalo replaces Rasmus Ristolainen, making that three injured defensemen for them. Ville Heinola is the only Finnish 'D' to play an NHL game this season who wasn't part of the roster at some point.

You know how guys like Giroux only come on the ice for a faceoff sometimes then they go right off? They should do that for Friedman at the end of a game they're trailing by 1 so they can get a power play.
friedman is one of my favourite defencemen because of his uncanny ability to draw penalties. in the past three seasons his penalty differential per 60 is +1.1; the second-highest is gostisbehere at +0.4

@BobJudu @mattgurney Yep. Not all judges are activists but the law explicitly prohibits self defence. It's clear as day. Proportional my ass. That makes no sense.

You happen to be one of my favourite journalists so I did not intend for this to become a shouting match and I was not being hyperbolic. From what I've seen, it literally appears as if self defence is illegal in canada for all intents and purposes. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

@mattgurney Right, so why is pepper spray, a purely defensive weapon, illegal? And if I remember correctly it's illegal to own a knife, gun, or baseball bat if the purpose is self defence.
