Rail is a no go. We need subterranean solutions to be designed around EVs. Can make tunnels much cheaper with vertical integration and don’t need as many ancillary parts as EVs have no exhaust.

Multi-modal AI is obviously the future interlacing vision, voice, and text for seamless digital experiences. We will most likely see the gaming industry lead this evolution given the need to integrate visuals, audio, video and more into a single experience.

While cloud services like AWS, Azure, etc. seemed like the go-to for ML tasks, many are building their own rigs. DIY setups can be 10x cheaper and equally performant. We're back to standing up our own clusters instead of cloud reliance. Is this progress or regression?

Idea: Mobile Medical lab. People talk about offering primary care in mobile vans but underestimate the amount of SOTA tech that can truly be "mobile". I'm talking about DNA / protein sequencing, DNA synthesis, ultrasounds, MRIs, retinal exams, lab testing, dentistry, etc.

@Groupon took a hit once merchants found out that their retention was terrible. Everyone was coming for the discounts and wasn't returning. Merchants were running discounts at a massive loss in most cases and didn't see the ROI. Idea for Groupon 2.0 ⬇️

Being "crazy" 10-20 years ago meant pitching a company that let strangers sleep on strangers couches. Crazy today looks more like creating humanoid robots or true artificial general intelligence. Quite a big step up if you ask me.

If the objective is to detect speech using brain-computer interfaces, non-invasive methods like EEG and EMG are more than enough. These technologies can effectively interpret speech-related neural and muscular signals without the need for surgical implantation like @neuralink .

You barely need any blood for multi-omic microsampling. Can predict health state before standard blood panels. Could we see a future where the price of omics drops so much so that we rely on it exclusively and only do standard lab tests when absolutely necessary?

It's all about bandwidth (bit rate) for brain computer interfaces. Neuralink as of 2021 coming in at 3.7 bits per second for primates. While impressive there are some noninvasive surface EMG methods that are achieving similar (e.g. 3.4 bps) performance. Do we push harder on EMG?

Surprised to find that the largest driver of cost for organ transplantation isn't the procurement of the organ or the cost of the actual surgery itself but instead the cost of simply staying in the hospital (e.g. two week of inpatient care for a heart transplant).

This type of idea will be increasingly import in an age of AI agents. We will need to create a system to prioritize engagement between multiple different AI agents or between an AI agent and a human. Having "skin in the game" with token or dollar transfer is a solution.
