#Sudan : One meal a day in #Darfur : Asida, a porridge made of grinded sorghum and water. "Before the war, we used to add sugar, honey, or molasse. I haven't had any for months" Kultuma, 80, eats thanks to the solidarity of her neighbours. Prices increased fivefold in Al Geneina.

In April last year, #Kreneik in #WestDarfur , #Sudan was attacked, causing another wave of displacement and interrupted education. Thanks to @EduCannotWait , we're working with teachers to emphasise the emotional support children in #Kreneik need for a better learning experience.

Habibo (57) and Issack (70) are internally displaced in Baidoa, Somalia. But that hasn’t discouraged them. By selling groceries and recycled rubber shoes in the market, they have quickly rebuilt their lives and communities.

#Sudan : Footage taken Saturday in a Gedaref market turned into reception site for displaced families from #Sennar . More than 135,000 were forced to flee in the last week. They need clean water, access to toilets, food, shelter medical care, and essential home items.
