Here’s some pics along the NC/TN border. Very slippery hike today. Some places still had some drifts of ft + but fresh snow couple inches in most areas. Stunning afternoon. Love the rime and light snow displaying the high country. These little events never disappoint!

One of the most underrated things in the mountains is the early spring bloom. It rivals late fall in color and beauty. If you drive from Mars Hill NC to Erwin TN you will see some of the most beautiful areas in the region. Especially the back roads near sams gap down into flag
