Earlier today, State Capitol Police received a walk-in from a state employee who heard kittens crying in the storm drain on the south side of the station. In the pouring rain Officer Olson and fellow officers spent almost two hours in the drain & saved three kittens. #WeAreNCDPS

Shout out to Probation & Parole Officer Brandon Garren who is a true life saver! Recently PPO Garren heard a woman screaming for help. Garren found a man lying in the yard not breathing so he began CPR until EMS arrived. They were able to save the man. Way to go! #WeAreNCDPS
