Our homes are now covered in Christmas wrapping paper, make sure you recycle it correctly! Check that the paper is non-metallic (generally you can't tear it - you have to use scissors). All other wrapping paper is #recyclable , so make sure you pop it in your recycling bin!

In-store collection points to be rolled out to all 151 stores by March 2021, customers will be able to simply remove unwanted soft plastic packaging - such as cling wrap or outer wrap from water bottle multi-packs - at the end of their shopping trip

To reduce our waste, we need to look at how and where we consume. Buying cheap, poor quality clothing and textiles from popular high street stores and online is ultimately a false economy as many of these items don’t survive their first wear or wash

Many #coffeecups carry the #recyclable logo, but these cups are not currently recyclable in Ireland. The logo refers only to the rigid plastic lids and the cardboard sleeves on some cups. Find out more about coffee cup recycling regulations here:

@John04649557 Right enough, diesel trucks aren't ideal, but thousands of tonnes of organic waste breaking down in landfill to produce a highly potent greenhouse gas, methane, is very not ideal. Brown bins and home composting are an improvement. So let's improve

We get asked about this everyday, no wonder there's so much confusion! These cups will not disappear in nature, they become litter, they need to be placed in a food waste recycle bin or if u home compost they can be placed there also. Cafe's stop misleading people please

Folks, this makes people think a compostable cup disintegrates in their garden which ain't true. Compostable packaging requires specific type of disposal so it can become compost. You should relay to the public it needs a food waste bin or proper home composting at high temps.
