A very good question indeed- there is a clear need for transparency here about how individuals are selected. There are so many excellent colleagues in the sector that could be drawn on, yet the same voices are always selected- why? How are they selected? What is the criteria?

This is such sad news ..
Very sad to learn today that Lee Shulman, who, among many huge accomplishments, invented the idea of pedagogical content knowledge, has just passed away. I fondly remember our sold-out joint dialogue with students & faculty at @HKUniversity in 2018. A great loss. @pasi_sahlberg
