@Cathal1798 A couple of lads who'd been living together (but not living together) got married so one of them could inherit the house. We haven't seen some young fellah marry his dad's second widow so that the transfer would be tax free.

@Cathal1798 Spousal transfers are tax-free... in theory, you could pass an estate to your child tax-free through a series of marriages, particularly easy with gender free marriage criteria... Someone's already done that, haven't they?

Free Willy...
The Victorian copy of the Bayeux Tapestry held by Reading Museum is a remarkable achievement. Created by the Leek Embroidery Society, they began work in 1885, never having seen the original. Not totally identical (they removed the penises from both humans and horses), it still represents a magnificent project #readingmuseum #bayeuxtapestry #readingbayeux
