Demographics has killed the market. At least the magical, self-adjusting, invisible hand of wisdom market we were all taught to believe in. The left wing should be deleriously happy, except that they depend on it as much as the rest of us do....

@Cathal1798 If you want to keep agricultural land with a return of less than 2% on market value, your other options are kinda limited...

@Cathal1798 A couple of lads who'd been living together (but not living together) got married so one of them could inherit the house. We haven't seen some young fellah marry his dad's second widow so that the transfer would be tax free.

@Cathal1798 Spousal transfers are tax-free... in theory, you could pass an estate to your child tax-free through a series of marriages, particularly easy with gender free marriage criteria... Someone's already done that, haven't they?

The Victorian copy of the Bayeux Tapestry held by Reading Museum is a remarkable achievement. Created by the Leek Embroidery Society, they began work in 1885, never having seen the original. Not totally identical (they removed the penises from both humans and horses), it still represents a magnificent project #readingmuseum #bayeuxtapestry #readingbayeux

@Cathal1798 These ratings folks need to update their criteria. Either that or John really does live in an alternative universe. There's quite a lot in his tweets to suggest that he doesn't live in the same one that I do.
