It also ate a Tipo and Maui in the mirror and allowed my Manor to just solo him the rest of the game. I mainly wanted it to have a board wipe under Pete.

@DinhKhangPham Even though I died to the aggressive starts, I still almost clawed my way back in each of them. Just goes to show how oppressive Shark is, especially with A Pirate’s Life. Shark is the best card in the game and it’s not even close.

Awesome to have some form of communication from RB regarding competitive play, and even more awesome to see Clement have his worlds invite revoked. However, I don’t think we’ll be seeing competitive play return for at least 6 months. Hope I’m wrong.

@HarlanSweete I wouldn’t mind more aggressive cards. However, there need to be efficient ways to answer them to just prevent that kind of style of play from being the only way to build decks going forward. More aggressive cards without efficient answers can also polarize play/draw even more.

Will be interesting to see how decks perform with a sideboard. It’s always something I’ve wished for in this game. Could allow for certain strategies to become actually playable into their worse matchups.

Well today is a good Monday. Thought I was never gonna get these as the store I ordered them from never provided an order confirmation email to me and said that I didn’t have an order when I contacted them about it last week 😅💀

At least some communication is better than none. However, this all could have been prevented had they just said this when they revealed the set in December. This condensed spoiler season is falling in line with what wotc does with mtg. Hopefully a reveal stream happens as well.
