The danger is that if the Left keep labelling as "Right wing" those who support free speech (even when it offends), who prioritise women's rights over men's feelings and who believe parents rather than the state should raise children, they might start believing it.

I seem to have triggered a lot of Labour-supporting people who have taken offence at the notion that parents, not the state, have the prime responsibility for raising their kids. This is concerning.
It's not the state's job to raise your kids. I worry that not enough Labour MPs know this.

This is a good point. What is considered "centre ground" at London dinner parties isn't necessarily seen as the middle ground by ordinary voters.
Many of those who call themselves “centrist” at 2019 election thought a party which explicitly wanted to stop the implementation of a referendum result (biggest vote for anything), anti-anti-open borders and full fat gender ID ideology was “moderate” and “sensible” and “centrist”
