@Kariann59589585 Futile though it may be to suggest this, if you read the whole piece you’ll see that it’s a self-aware joke about why “imagine if the other side did that” is always a rubbish complaint. Don’t know why I bother, to be honest.

@ellegist I don’t think it’s wise to hope that so many people have made an elementary logical error that it’s safe to join them in it. Also I don’t think the mechanism makes any pharmacological sense.

@GeorgeBevis One of my university friends lived there when she moved to London after graduating (no parental connection I think). She’s not there any more.

@JustRowena Disability and mental illness don't need to be eligibility criteria - disabled people and people with mental illnesses can also be terminally ill.

This thread is very good.
As indicated in various tweets, I think the House of Commons should vote against the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill on Friday, & am going to do one thread to summarise why. I'm a Labour member & councillor, & just did a year as an adviser, chiefly in Opposition, (1/18)
