Thinking about the first time I watched Pride and Prejudice with Child 2 (who was 11 or 12). She got SO mad at Mrs. Bennet for telling Lydia, “Take every opportunity to enjoy yourself!” She yelled, “NO! You should be telling her: ‘Take every opportunity to grow in virtue!!!’”

@prettywiseass Yup! It’s pretty much my favorite holiday! Everyone makes valentines for each other and usually they’re pretty silly (sometimes touching). On the day, we go around the table taking turns pulling out valentines and reading them aloud and everyone feels loved and appreciated 🥰
