I think there's gentle parenting and "gentle parenting." One helps children learn emotional self-mastery, the other teaches them that their emotions are the master. But good ol' social media eliminates any subtlety or nuance on the subject, as always.

Finally got the entryway painted. Some mistakes around the tape but easily mended. Darker than anticipated but like how the lighting will draw people into the resto of the house. So on its own, looks weird. But the overall effect is spot on.

Today was great. Pepper loved the lake, and all the people and driftwood sticks she got to meet. She did great for her first time in the water but was NOT amused. I caught a very small bluegill, turned it loose. Sister ans I got to go swimming. & Furb met his touch grass quota!
