They have two good young tackles and now the Dillard signing

I think they'd definitely go MHJ. They want a bigger receiver who can block. Also Harbaugh faced MHJ in college and I think that will play into the decision big time

- Great tackle class at the top, but not very deep. May need to take on early if the want one
- They obviously aren't afraid to pour resources into the position

IDL not seeming likely for the Packers in round 1
Colby Wooden is clearly an interior DL, so Packers are returning their top 6 DL from last season and are essentially three-deep at both spots entering draft.
3T: Wyatt, Brooks, Wooden
NT: Clark, Slaton, Ford

Very interesting note on GMs in their final year.
Schoen of the Giants is someone who comes to mind that could be aggressive (trade up for QB?)
What other GMs are on the hot seat?
Since 2011, teams trading up in the draft have consistently overpaid when evaluating with the F-S trade value chart.
Furthermore, GMs in their final year will overpay even more to trade up, especially when it's for a QB.

I’m still skeptical of Penix or Nix going in round 1
But I may include both in my final mock
Why?
They both have clear landing spots (Penix - LV, Nix - DEN)
I think the upside of potentially getting 2 landing spots right outweighs maybe predicting more 1st rounders

Joe Douglas loves offensive lineman.
I know the popular pick right now at 10 is Bowers, but you have to think that it's eating him up inside that their season basically ended last year in part due to terrible OL play.
They signed some OL already, but why not really solidify it?

- Verse is a very Saints pick; edge w prototypical size
- IND will take an ELITE athlete; Quinyon fits the bill
- Mims makes sense, but I see GB going defense yet again
- I think PIT sticks to their formula of drafting a stud WR in rd 2
- Jets passing up Fashanu is very on brand
