On home call. Came to see a patient in joggers and a t shirt. ED PA said I look to chill to be a surgery resident. Lol what?

Doing surgery while on call with laryngitis and an active fever is a level of residency I wasn’t really looking to unlock. Thugged it out like a G. Now excuse me while I go home and try not to die.

Nothing fills my heart more than patients telling me I put them at ease when I talk to them. Take time to talk to your patients, listen attentively and always show genuine empathy. You are here for them. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Lol bye.
