Hekapoo Vs. The Legion Of Affliction
Chapter 20: "Pieces Of The People We Love"

Phoebe & Her Unicorn will no longer move forward at Nickelodeon because sadly, even after an era of Powerpuff Girls, Friendship Is Magic and Owl House, shows with female protagonists still "can't sell" that well according to geriatric executives.
Similar to how shows like Molly McGee just says "ANIMATION BY MERCURY FILMWORKS" without crediting ANYONE.
WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?
Why is crediting animators such an issue/challenge?
The movie Strays includes a 2D animated bit done by Titmouse during the drug trip scene that actually looked neat.
You wanna know what sucks though? They didn’t even credit any names of the people that worked on it. It just said “2D animation by Titmouse”.
@RebelTaxi
You remember Cartoon Network trying to sell you a real KND Treehouse?
Howa bout Adult Swim trying to sell you a big blood Dethklok fountain or a huge Meatwad balloon?
You gotta do a video on the Adult Swim shop.

"I won't punch you in the taint this time."
Seriously, this season got away with Croagunk punching Brock in the butthole a lot.
I love to remind myself that ATHF did an episode that was nothing but Shake making a deal with Boost Mobile so you get nothing but "What's up dog, where you at?" quotes for almost the whole episode.
As well as an AXE Body Spray showing up.
This whole scene shows the HUGE GLARING problem with Magical Girl Friendship Squad.
It's a magical girl parody series that barely parodies magical girl culture.
It's basically kind of a low rent Panty and Stocking.
NEW: With actors & writers on strike, reality TV stars are the next group to challenge Hollywood's status quo.
Love is Blind castmembers told us they were psychologically manipulated, funneled alcohol & paid $7.14/hr.
They’re suing Netflix and fighting to change the industry.
@rwmead
Because they, too, apperantly believe animation is just for kids, and not for everyone.
Most of the fans of those shows are basically, well, adults, so they consider that into faliure.

The problem, though is that in the pilot, Bloo wasn't THAT much of a menace. Doesn't help that Keith Ferguson's voice direction kinda made Bloo sound soft and, oddly enough, kind of shy.
Jon has probably the most realistic reaction to this. Admit it, ANYONE would break their cover chuckling at the nonsense Space Ghost is saying right now.
Fun fact: Matt Braly storyboarded some of this episode. This was just before Gravity Falls' second season resumed production, so then Matt had to return to that show's production.
It's only been two years since a proper anime aired on Cartoon Network itself, and somehow, EVEN after shows like OK K.O., how is it that it feels surreal seeing a gothic lolita character with that CN logo on the lower right?
@BlackFlagMatter
Seriously, what kind of race car has a random hole in the back like that?
And did that pit crew member put in a screwdriver in said hole? The filmmakers clearly knew NOTHING how these kind of smaller races work.
The Spider-Verse movie is hyped as hell and of, course, it looks like nothing I've ever seen, can it get any better?
(Gwen Stacy appears)
GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE NAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
it is my ultimate honor to join Pokemon Ultimate Journeys as the English voice of Iris!! You can watch a new batch of episodes right now on

Thing is, there are female writers and even a gay writer on the show, and they usually do this better, so this really does come off as awkwardly strange.
Maybe they can play damage control and have the writers, at the very least apologize for this.
Hey. Instead of bitching about TTG, why not talk about Welcome To The Wayne sometime? You know, something to spread the word on?
Or, I dunno ANYTHING ELSE other than TTG. We don't want to hear you whine.
"For little kids".
FOR EVERYONE.
That's like saying Pixar are releasing movies for little kids.
Or that Lego Movies are for little kids.
STOP THIS LITTLE KID MENTALITY. OLDER FANS EXIST.
I love that Disney cartoons as of late have been namedroping anime and manga more than Cartoon Network's shows for some reason. Not just Amphibia and Owl House, but Big City Greens namedropped anime once, too.
2001: "Ash sucks. He doesn't catch every wild Pokémon he sees, even Legendary Pokémon."
2021: "Goh sucks. He catches or tries to catch every wild Pokémon he sees, even Legendary Pokémon."
@AwestruckVox
It kinda looks like Infinity Train, on top of that. Notable animation producers Jackie Buscarino and Casey Alexander are working on this one, too.
OH GOD.
Even Wonder Park DID MORE.
A movie with a messy production, with NO director credited actually did more money.
STOP BEING SCARED OF STOP-MOTION MOVIES.
I don't want every adult animated thing to be like BoJack Horseman. Some can be like that.
Some can be like Big Mouth.
Some can be like Hazbin Hotel.
Some can be like Final Space.
Some can be like Ballmastrz 9009.
What I'm trying to say is I want a balance of that animation.
@itsnicktendo
In Latinamerica, they actually called it "My Classmate Is A Monkey", which...yeah, would have worked in English.
Is "Gym Partner" just a funny saying?
Another why I enjoyed 12 Oz. Mouse? Pani Poni Dash and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo both came around at the same time. All were weird as f*ck, had memorable characters and were quotable to me. What a trio of hows.
2005-2007 was a BLAST for those three shows.
15 years ago today, 12 Oz. Mouse premiered on [adult swim].
15 years later, people still complain about it.
You don’t understand. He don’t give a damn.
