, what a difference a year makes, God is very good to me.
In 2023 Timmy McCarthy left a hospital bed to be inducted into the Basketball Ireland Hall of Fame. He was so frail, friends feared they might not see him again. But after his latest rebound from cancer, the whole country has got to treasure him once more

18 years ago my mum passed away and 16 yrs later my father joined her. They will be happy to be together again though it still breaks my heart they have left this life. They were simply great parents to me. Christmas is a great family time, its so sad that they not with us now 💔

What a gentleman Kevin was, a really nice guy who was a brilliant player and who was probably ahead of his time. He was a great help to me in my recovery from my knee injury in his gym in Paul Street which helped me get back to club & international duty, may he rest in peace.

JBM is someone owho has influenced me in my life. He had it all as a player in any sport and throughout my teenage years was a hero to me. Later on when I got to meet him I was not disappointed,he is a gentleman.I always loved chatting to him.
