Today my wife sang at the funeral of a friend she grew up with. Her voice SANG with such sincerity, something so human, with such personal, almost spiritual, musicianship. She is totally oblivious to this gift she posseses...that's probably why she has that gift. Very proud. ❤️

Obviously there is long way to go on this, but at least there has been progress - the workforce won’t be unemployed by April. It can’t be ignored, though, that the cliff edge has been moved a year down the line. Additional 24-26 funding will required to save the company.
Following negotiations with ACE, we have received funding for the next year, but at a 9% reduction.
We remain concerned that this only gives one year's reprieve and that this still leaves a huge amount of uncertainty regarding the ENO's future.

Yesterday I re-connected with an old friend who I met travelling 20 years ago. God, I REALLY miss travelling, meeting wonderful people, being immersed in immensity of nature and feeling how insignificant you actually are. Also, I miss how young I was in the photos from that trip!
