It should surprise no-one that government cuts to arts and culture funding lead to serious damage to our ability to care for and access our national heritage. This is a prime example. The Tories should never have cut funding to this crucial organisation

Horrendous news from English Heritage that 200 jobs are at risk, affecting PCS Culture Group members. We stand in solidarity with affected workers and call for @EnglishHeritage to explore every alternative avenue to avoid compulsory redundancies

@Taj_Ali1 The issue of hospitals is not really one of physical space. Noone truly thinks the problems are because we don't have room to place patients. It's of not enough staff to run wards because they are underpaid and run out of their jobs. This is just another excuse to be racist.

Why is growth supposed to be the indicator of a healthy economy? We should look at the living conditions of ordinary people as our measure of whether an economy works, not its capacity to produce endless wealth for a small handful of people to hoard.
