IMO, “erasure poetry” is not poetry in any way. And to destroy someone else’s writing—or, God forbid, poem—and then call the leftover words a new “poem” is pure philistinism.

I'd love to edit an anthology of quiet horror. Short stories drenched in edgy atmosphere, subtle weirdness, and creeping dread. Slow-burning, unsettling mood over splatter and gore.

Or you could try communicating with the people who were kind enough to share their creativity with you. Tell them you're a bit behind but reassure them you're reading. That would stop the "fecking annoying" contact from the writers who are keeping you afloat, I imagine.
