Just can't believe it! What are the Scottish electorate thinking of.
Reintroduction of
Everything that has been worked so had for; Free Tuition fees gone, Free Prescriptions gone, our Profile in the EU gone, Baby boxes gone, Free school meals gone, Child Payment gone, etc etc
One thing that has been made abundantly clear in Scotland, following the Tory Party Leadership interviews - and that is how lucky we are to have such a capable, intelligent consumate professional as our First Minister.

Oh, my heart. How could anyone accuse her of seeking a political opportunity- Can't they see with their own eyes that they are staring honesty, compassion, and love for her country and its people straight in the face?
#ScotlandstandswithNicola
The power of the British State was used ruthlessly throughout the Empire; it was exercised in Ireland; it was used to defeat the miners in the 80s, and on Willie MacRae. Now, it's been directed at NS. It's vital that we get our message to trend:
#ScotlandStandsWithNicola
I am beyond angry at the way our FM is being denigrated, right, left and centre.
This is a concentrated effort by the Union to steal our hope of independence and we can't allow them to succeed. We just can't!
Visited A & E last night experiencing chest pain, following a recent heart attack.
Two hours later was home, having had an ECG and consultation with two, lovely, hard working doctors.
Thank God for our SNHS.
Yes, I am an SNP supporter, but I just read a thread, aimed at Stephen Flynn, and the vitriol expressed has actually shocked me today.
Rishi Sunak has unleashed a monster and should be made to publicly apologise for his remarks on Monday.
For the ones who haven’t seen it, or don’t know about it.
@AnasSarwar
’s Scottish Labour councillors voted to cut the Holiday food programme- a programme that ensures thousands of young people in Glasgow don’t go hungry during the school holidays.
Why do I feel disconnected?
Is it because Nicola is going and I really can't get behind the three candidates?
It feels like the Indy dream is slowly dying.
Am I right, or am I wrong?
Wouldn't it have been such an amazing gesture for the King to have chosen to cancel all that ridiculous pomp & circumstance, instead putting the money it would have cost to good use.
The Attorney General has written to Rishi Sunak to warn him that the UK is complicit and culpable in the War Crimes that Israel is committing in Gaza.
A few months ago it was just the Government's legal team, but now it is the boss.
Rishi Sunak could end up in the Hague.
Hats off to Kay Burley this morning - holding James Cleverly to account over UK refugees stuck in Calais.
Yesterday they processed 50 visas out of 10,000.
Not good enough.

I empathise fully and suffer with two kinds of arthritis so simply could not continue to work. I now have DLA and my state pension and I have never been so well off, after working for 50 years. I never got 'that letter' either!
Now that ‘Scottish’ Labour have launched their manifesto, will they be standing against the Labour Party in all Scottish constituencies or just some of them? BronzeBully

It is very easy to stop this swell of ill feeling, frustration and anger. Give the Scottish people a voice. Don't patronise, or treat them with contempt. Might it be because you do not want to hear what they have to say I wonder?
You know the biggest and best thank you we could give our FM is to develop and grow the Independence movement beyond all borders and finish the work she started.

I've admired her since the first time I heard her speak 9 years ago. I remember thinking at the time 'well if AS retires or steps down, we can be assured of having a safe pair of hands'.
Didn't she do well?
On her own up there - but she held it together.
Very articulate, too, in what was a very divided panel - never mind the audience.
(What ever happened to live and let live?)
Well done,
Jenny Gilruth.
@ScottMac_Donald
@turracoo1
Please please - not all of us 'old folk'!
I have 3 sisters and brother in laws. We are all retired. All of us - and our kids want independence.
Just watched our FM on Sophie Ridge, tell the new PM exactly what to do tomorrow to resolve/relieve the current cost of living crisis.
However, it's doubtful they will even listen never mind adopt her strategies and that's the really sad part.
This is what happens when you threaten the Anglo British State: They will throw everything at you through the medium of their media/press. Be aware this is only the beginning as they GE approaches the dirty tricks will increase dramatically.
@RealScottRitter
I am proud of my wee country (Scotland) who has been calling for a ceasefire for several weeks now.
It's just a pity that the UK government agrees with yours.
I love Zelenskyy. He has all the leadership qualities, courage and charisma by the bucket load.
But I just saw a broadcast where he describes Johnson as a great friend.
Now I'm left feeling a little let down.
@JaneyGodley
You are looking amazing Janey. Do what feels right for you. Some of the trolls are truly disgusting and must be very damaged - but I'm so sad they have driven you away. X
@iamtoobusy
@DoyleLuck
That's because that's what the UK Government want them to believe. The difference between both governments is one is very progressive, well managed and cares about it's people - the other isnt/doesn't and is instead focused on increasing profits for big business.
Just when did preferring a different party from the PM’s party make you an extremist? What is going on in this union?
Why is this not being questioned by our news programmes or our so called journalists?
@J4m35c4mpb3ll
@bbcquestiontime
Raging at the treatment, doled out to Drew Hendry. Try as he might to answer the question, he gets accused of conducting a party political broadcast by the supposed 'host'. Wouldn't like to take my blood pressure right now!
@PeterStefanovi2
I have great respect for you Peter and followed you avidly. Today however, as a working class female - my sympathies are with the Palestinian people. I am also Scottish and won't forget her treatment of Nicola Sturgeon.
@melissapudding
Frankly? I don't think they are aware of the strength of feeling here in Scotland. Such is the state of apathy fourteen years of this Tory government has induced.
@Britain_People
This excuse for a man is absolutely horrendous, disgusting, cruel, and all round a complete horror show. Please don't vote for him friends in Somerset.
Watching Sky News and so glad James Mathews is over in the USA this week - we have had enough 'glee' from Glen Campbell, another 'impartial' Scottish reporter.
@GM1872_
Absolutely disgusting - having a go at a young boy. Absolutely no need. You and your weird friends on here should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves.
@LBC
@RachelSJohnson
I'm afraid I don't want to hear what she has to say. Nor do I want to listen to Andrew Pierce or any other right winger.
You listening LBC?
Yesterday two MPs were ejected from the HoC.
Some people seem to think that Ian Blackford should have intervened or someone else from the SNP.
Can I just clarify, these two MPs were from the Alba party, who are not connected to the SNP although they have a common goal.
@80_mcswan
How many is a few? Try : corrupt, dishonest, selfish, self centred, greedy, elitist, egotistical, uncaring, disrespectful, devoid of empathy .. compassion .. sincerity .. congruence .. warmth, manipulative, disdainful, fiercely ambitious and on and on and on.
Have a look on Wikipedia everyone for a guy called Cincinnatus.
BJ mentioned him before he left the PM post.
Cincinnatus was a Roman Dictator who got the top job in the land, not once, but twice - and that was engineered too.
I hope there is someone, somewhere, keeping tabs on all of the possible and probable instances of corruption in this country because I quite simply have lost count.
@WillHayCardiff
Scotland did not join the Union willingly - having said that - it is very wrong that Wales is not represented here or anywhere. Though Wales is a country in its own right (till it wins it's independence) it is still a part of the UK so should be presented as such.

@theSNP
As a previously avid fan James, I am upset that, because of your pro Labour stance, you have made no attempt to empathise or even understand the Scottish viewpoint of either the SNP or even Scottish Labour.
@warriorbadger
This makes perfect sense to me. How do adults normally act when there are differences? They acknowledge them and move on. We all have one very important task in hand and that is to achieve independence for our nation, for our children, grandchildren, and their future.

Ageism - yet another reason to divide the population. AKA "why should there be a triple lock on pensions" like they haven't paid into the system all of their working lives.
@msm_monitor
The primary aim of the SNP is to gain our independence. Humza was very strong on this at the recent convention. Ultimately that is what is important to me.
@lainedaisey
Hi guys
I am a die-hard Indy fan. I have blocked the offender too.
Just wanted to point out (gently, please) that not all of us can attend the marches, although we follow them on line - enviously. Personally, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis ➕️ a host of other health related issues
