I’m no fan of goodwillie or what he allegedly did. But it needs to be made clear he was found guilty in a civil court, on the balance of probabilities, not beyond reasonable doubt as per the requirements of a criminal court. Susan Aitken’s statement did not make this clear.

It’s a red card. He led with the shoulder, no arms and hit north on the head. He didn’t hit him hard I admit, which was lucky, if he’d have caught him flush it would’ve been another serious head injury for North. Just because north is low means nothing in today’s game.

Some good points made by all three on the panel. The point about a lack of competition in the squad breeding a sense of entitlement in some of the players is a good won. I’ve always had the impression russell, Hogg and Price have believed their own hype.
