I love that the people who use
#BlueMAGA
are the people most representative of a lefty MAGA movement.
Let’s see:
Want authoritarianism ✅
Don’t care about rule of law ✅
Not empathetic to plight of those in out-groups ✅
Scream about “stolen elections” when they don’t win ✅
@billybrizzle420
There was a child in my life who had been raised in an EXTREMELY food-insecure environment. After having had breakfast that morning, she was given lunch and remarked with shock and joy “we get to eat again??” It was heartbreaking 💔
I’m really disappointed whenever I see “Oh *I* love Pete, but I’m worried that *other* people won’t support him because he’s gay…”
I get that most times they’re simply trying to be pragmatic and are just worried about winning, but pre-folding the case like that sucks

“I’m voting against LGBTQ folks, women, Black folks, poor folks, marginalized communities, and reproductive freedom because I care more about humanity than you do!” is legit a weird take, change my mind
PATTON!! My perfect love, Jordan, made me this amazing lamp for the kitchen (out of a chef’s hat of course!)
She knows how much I love cooking, Ratatouille, and you ♥️

Buttigieg is nothing but green flags, so it would be nice if his detractors would stop pretending he’s the “alarming” choice and just admit they dislike him because of distortions, lies, and vibes
Shapiro has at least 4-5 distinct red flags that we know of (more than all his major rivals combined?) so it would be nice if his defenders would stop pretending he’s the safe choice and just admit they like him because he appeals to them personally.
Now I know that this is the most important election yet.
I get why you’d be worried.
But you’re not putting “a gay man” on the ticket. You’re putting Pete Frickin’ Buttigieg on the ticket.

Bro, this is one of the most popular Musk memes used on Twitter, and it wasn’t born out of people giving him vague thumbs-ups.
It’s obsession.
So anyway, please support him (or don’t) based on your own feelings, not on vague speculation of how others feel.
Should we have a gay VPOTUS? Yes

Mute the word “Wordle”. That’s what I’d do for your fantasy football scores. Problem solved. But you won’t do that because complaining about it is a club all to its own 💁🏻♂️
You’re inadvertently conceding to a faulty premise: being gay is something they should think of as bad.
Your willingness to pitch someone overboard because *others* may not accept them legitimizes their lack of acceptance, even if that wasn’t your intention.

I’m honestly just impressed that Mastermind Pete hacked not only the app, but the paper ballots and video of results on every camera and cell phone present. Anyone with that kind of magic deserves to be president, no?
Look on his works, ye mighty, and despair!

If the last 24 hours of Warren staff screeching on Twitter have shown me anything it’s just how she lost. These were the people running her campaign? Petty children? No wonder Wine Cave™ was a thing. No wonder they refused to take on Bernie...
This has been so illuminating.
@MadScientistFF
In-N-Out.
When I moved to LA, people talked about their burgers like you’d explode with delight from a single bite.
Imagine my chagrin when it was just a boring-ass burger.
I’m pretty well-travelled, maybe Californians need to get out more? 🤷🏻♂️
This is what makes me crazy. Leftists think the person who SAYS the most lefty stuff is the most progressive, not seeming to care whether they can get it done or not. Then they denigrate those like Joe and Pete for being measured and only promising possible policy items.
This has always been the key to the Biden administration.
Without making a show of it, they’re improving people’s lives.
The key to liking him is, whether you’re actually paying attention.
People need to stop trying to make Pete Buttigieg happen in the VP race. It’s starting to look like it’s down to two governors and that’s a good thing.

It literally does, though. It’s saying “It’s illegal (and punishable by arrest) for both rich and poor people to sleep under a bridge.” That’s all well and good to call that “equal”, but we all know that particular law only affects the poor. I think you are misreading the quote
Let’s treat gun shops like they treat women’s health clinics. Let’s stand outside in a mob, screaming at them about the “sanctity of life” all while shoving pictures of murdered children in their faces.
My absolute favorite part is when these two Mayo-Americans pull up think they’re about to do something, then they tuck tail and run when they see the BLACK WALL coming to teach them the meaning of FAFO
🤣🤣🤣

“In the air tonight” was haunting, plus I thought he said “I’ve been waiting for the snowmen for all my life”, and always envisioned an army of angry zombie snowmen slowly marching to kill me (I was a big Calvin & Hobbes fan)
@TWLadyGrey
My neighborhood is vastly Jewish and Black. Most of the kids at my kids’ schools are Jewish or Black (or both).
I stand firmly with my neighbors.
It’s why I moved here, but also why I’m a more fervent ally than ever.
There isn’t any self-segregation.
I asked...and she said “Yes!”.

As a dad of a daughter, I think this every time someone says to me “She’s pretty! You’re gonna need to polish your shotgun...”
A. She owns her body, not me
B. She’s smart and can make her own choices
C. It’s neither here nor there, but I will never own a gun
D. She’s 8, sicko...

Young me truly just didn’t know that the “her job is to pretend to hold the line and you have to wear her down” wasn’t how it was supposed to go. Now, 20+ years later I’m breaking the cycle with my own son. It’s a hard but necessary change
@heterodorx
This reads like you wrongly think of atheism as a belief system.
I teach my children to question things and ask/look for evidence.
You think I taught them to “not believe in a god”
I taught them to ask rational questions and use those answers to inform their thoughts.
@thebrick00
@PeteButtigieg
Yeah, I guess you’re right…
Pete is helping get more Dems elected, while Bernie is using Republican talking points to take potshots at the progress we’re making.
Bernie is cosplaying progress.
Pete is doing something.

Look...I consider myself to be VERY progressive. I felt the Bern in 16, I was a Dean guy in 04. But the left is pissing me off. Now Harriot, Sirota, TYT, etc., their ideas proven not as popular as they thought, are using race to try and separate moderates from black voters
Does everyone else have friends On Here™ that you’ve never met IRL, but that you love and respect so very much? I have a good chunk I’d walk through fire for that I couldn’t pick out of a line-up. That’s absolutely gobsmacking to me.

You took a sitting Senator with near universal appeal, smarts like the dickens, high name-recognition, and a helluva platform and...turned her into yourselves. Petty, small. Fights over nothing. Now in loss you’re doing it again.
Your loss isn’t Pete’s fault. It’s mirror time.
@Brewster1Erin
@emrazz
This. One of the hardest things I ever did was get educated, look back, realize that I crossed a line or seven in my youth, and made some phone calls, text messages to start apologizing.
Ironic that all the negativity about Pete’s “troubles with black people” often amounts to the systematic erasure of the black voices that would know best. For this, as in all things, listen to those closest. Amplify black voices.

Listen, Pete has my vote. Thats not gna change bc imo he’s the most strategically sound choice to beat Trump, he can help unify us & he has systemic plans to uplift vulnerable communities and get us results. He has bold ideas, skill, heart, exp of being an other & I trust him. 1/
@hankgreen
Pete Buttigieg for sure.
He has so much crossover appeal, is whip smart, can disarm Fox News interviewers in a way no one else can, speaks numerous languages, deftly dissects foreign policy, and is an actual Progressive by the only metric that matters (he makes progress)
I blame Bernie for deluding a generation of leftists into thinking progress is easy and Dems just haven’t done everything because they don’t feel like it
“Why hasn’t Pete said he won’t run against VP Harris in 24?”
“He literally says all the time he has ‘no plans to run’.”
“But not ‘no plans to run against Kamala’ specifically. His silence on that is deafening!”
Yeah, this isn’t a disingenuous conversation AT ALL 🙄
Ok, all you geniuses: who’s a -smart- person’s idea of a smart person? Whose intellectual work and manner of presenting it has earned your respect? Or do we not commit ourselves that way on Twitter?
@GonzalezGetulio
Right.
Thank you for so aptly demonstrating why no sane person would go after your vote.
That nonsense screed you just wrote says that the effort it would take to unwind your propaganda simply isn’t worth it.
Appreciate the example!
This is the most viral I’ll ever likely go, and I don’t have a Soundcloud, so instead please follow my talented bride-to-be on Insta as she prepares to make a go of full-time art ♥️:
Y’all only do this shit to drive a wedge between KHive and Team Pete
I hate that it works on some, because Pete is one of the FEW politicians who would NEVER put himself above the sitting Black woman VP, but working hard to plant a vague “he’s a secret racist” seed is y’all M.O.
“He did a lot of amazingly progressive things despite a strong headwind of Republican intransigence, but he doesn’t pass the vibe check with my terminally online friends, so fuck that guy.”
These people are a cancer
When I’m in a room with someone smarter than me, it doesn’t make me feel inferior, and therefore hate them. It makes me admire them and want to get more educated myself. People are telling on themselves when they say they “HATE PETE” or find him “condescending”.
