This pop-up message is quite interesting Livability is an internal app that Apple's engineers use to manage development devices and feature flags. With it, you can enable in-development features and sensitive UI elements. The app itself is not present on release iOS though.

About iPhone Ultra - I still don’t think that’s a thing, given that there is no fifth iPhone in the 16 range, no D95 or anything similar as far as I’m aware. If it ever does happen - it’ll probably be just a rebrand for marketing purposes.

As I’ve said before - Web Eraser is a built-in ad blocker that already exists in pre-release builds of Safari 18. It’s not some sort of unfinished / non-functional thing. After we published our initial article on it - the UK’s NMA + French publishers sent out complaints about it

External validation is always nice but if you rely on it - it means you were never confident in your reporting imo. Multiple reports can coexist / be complementary if they reveal different aspects of the same thing. It’s like people forget this sometimes tbh.

@Chronotope @eric_seufert They were not testing the waters with it, no. None of my leaks were “encouraged” by Apple. They wouldn’t intentionally leak most of their own features months in advance.

@richybutnotrich @graphicalryan @MacRumors Yeah so the iPhone 12-style design has seen more extensive use compared to the X-style camera enclosure. I thought it’d be interesting to show both though - since people rarely get to see the different design variations Apple creates.

@00006s0 Expect bugs, as with any beta. You could see individual apps crashing but overall OS stability should be adequate.
