Livability is an internal app that Apple's engineers use to manage development devices and feature flags. With it, you can enable in-development features and sensitive UI elements. The app itself is not present on release iOS though.
The camera module design is very similar to the one in the 15 Pro Max - it’s fairly easy to identify the area containing the “tetraprism”and related components.
Some new features we can expect to see with this year’s operating systems 👀

About iPhone Ultra - I still don’t think that’s a thing, given that there is no fifth iPhone in the 16 range, no D95 or anything similar as far as I’m aware.
If it ever does happen - it’ll probably be just a rebrand for marketing purposes.
Expect this at WWDC next month, along with all the other improvements I’ve revealed so far.
Looks like Apple decided to play it safe today by saving new OS features for June.

According to a credible private account, Apple has started distributing VendorUI builds of iOS 18.
This article contains the basics on the different variants of iOS that exist (including VendorUI) - so it’s worth a read if you want to learn more about stuff like that.
Huge thanks to everyone who followed!🙏
Just to explain - this is a professional account so you won’t see any random opinions, drama etc. Will probably talk about upcoming devices / software here more than anything else.

Everything about the new GreyParrot Calculator for iPad and Mac.
Fun fact: The original version was actually created in September of 2023 - so they spent quite a lot of time on this thing.
Apple's native Calculator app is finally available on iPad in iPadOS 18, and with it come new UI elements and support for mathematical notation through the Math Notes feature.

These dummy units feature some of the things I’ve been talking about for the past few months - Capture Button + vertical camera design.
Interestingly, they also have the small Action Button, which is consistent with Proto2 designs I revealed back in January.
What’s interesting about the new Calculator app is the project codename:
The GreyParrot name is simiar to Graymatter (iOS 18 AI project), wonder if there’s some sort of connection there 🤔
As I’ve said before - Web Eraser is a built-in ad blocker that already exists in pre-release builds of Safari 18. It’s not some sort of unfinished / non-functional thing.

Two things Apple didn't rename ahead of launch:
The Clean Up tool - removes objects from photos via generative AI
Math Notes - allows you to type/write equations, and auto-complete them via AI.

We actually have quite a lot of details about Web Eraser - we know what it looks like, how it works etc.
If Apple scraps it - we can point out what was removed, make some mock-ups, and explain why it’s missing.

Some more info:
- This design comes from the same sources as the three prototypes shared in December
- It’s basically just a different backplate, so we’ll see either this or the iPhone 12-style design

This icon can only be seen in Apple’s WWDC video for one segment - they replaced it ahead of release so you can’t actually get it to appear in the developer beta.
Hints of Apple Intelligence can already be seen in 1st betas of iOS 18, macOS 15, and iPadOS 18. 😳
This works in numerous Apple apps, like Notes, Safari, and Messages.
Later in 2024, real-time audio transcription and summarization may be available system-wide on iPhone and Mac, as Apple looks to harness the power of AI, AppleInsider has learned.
Still can’t believe my article managed to kill off Web Eraser in its entirety - looks like publishers really didn’t like that one.
Kinda sucks tho, it was a nice content blocker.

The Calculator app Apple shipped with its developer betas is somehow worse than the pre-release versions, which is interesting.
The macOS Calculator, for instance, no longer has the sidebar button or resizable windows.

Well the button placement itself indicates camera-related functionality, especially when in landscape mode.
Guessing they’ll use the force sensor to avoid accidental presses
Maybe our article indirectly killed off the Web Eraser feature by causing all of those complaints and whatnot.
We’ll see whether or not it’s still there soon enough, at WWDC.

Yeah so the iPhone 12-style design has seen more extensive use compared to the X-style camera enclosure. I thought it’d be interesting to show both though - since people rarely get to see the different design variations Apple creates.

Also fwiw - the image you used for the tweet has the older button design. They went through at least four different button configurations for these things - these are the current Proto2 designs:
