Extreme Neoliberal Economic Rationalism: "Slaughter-House Economics". Voluntary Assisted Dying for the mentally distressed, now for the life-serving prison population.
“Once you accept killing as a solution for a single problem, you will find tomorrow hundreds of problems for which killing can be seen as a solution.” Excellent article indicating how prisoners have successfully applied for #euthanasia where it is legal.

Cheaper Housing leads to people migrating to where the cheaper housing is, leading to negative externalities associated with a lack of supporting infrastructure. (Jevons paradox Braess's paradox Downs–Thomson paradox). The answer lies in reducing human overpopulation.
Oh. “When you just increase density in big cities, we’re just going to have more people in our big cities – not cheaper housing,” said Prof. Beaudry, professor at the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of B.C., in an interview."

@MarcTennant Free Trade is over-rated. Supply Shocks during the pandemic, demonstrated the need for a paradigm shift of Self-Reliance. Multinationals can't be trusted in maintaining employment-rich industries, locally. If you are against tariffs, are you against subsidies & tax concessions?
