Years ago in Europe I was told about pickpockets. I was warned they always employ a distraction before they rob you. Trump is no different. Buying Gaza is another of his many distractions. Its a smoke screen. Look past it for what he's really up to.
Trump: “I'm committed to buying and owning Gaza. As far as us rebuilding it, we may give it to other states in the Middle East to build sections of it, other people may do it, through our auspices. But we’re committed to owning it, taking it, and making sure that Hamas doesn’t move back.”

@only2beyourself Ukraine was applying to join NATO. NATO doesn't acquire members by conscription. Russia's invasion made it pretty clear why Ukraine wanted to join. Finland & the Baltic countries have been invaded by Russia before, which is why they too pleaded to join.
