GAZA SOLUTION Dear Mr. President @realDonaldTrump: Let the Palestinians stay in Gaza. Cut off all financial and military aid to Israel. Instead, redirect that money to rebuilding Gaza. The USA should work WITH the Palestinians to rebuild Gaza into a beautiful, modern, ocean side nation that the Palestinians own and govern. The USA can be a partner for the Palestinians providing the needed business and technical guidance. Palestinians will be hired and trained to do the job of rebuilding. Gaza will become a protectorate of the USA -- meaning that if Israel (or anyone else) attacks them, they are attacking the USA. Profits from Gaza's offshore oil and gas fields can help pay for the rebuilding and to establish a scholarship fund for young Palestinians (about half the population). By helping Palestinians get back on their feet, the USA will earn the respect and love of the Palestinians, rather than the hatred they now must feel. Gaza can become the resort and tourist destination Trump envisions, but it will be owned, governed and operated by the Palestinian people. They will have a booming economy with endless jobs and opportunities. The new Gaza will be a peaceful neighbor for Israel.
