Looking forward to a government-owned Rex. Marginal electorates will get great services. As for the rest ...
Regional Australians need reliable, quality transport to stay connected and thriving. So today we’re backing REX airlines to ensure regional communities have access to crucial regional flights. We won’t leave these communities behind and we'll keep building Australia’s future right across our country.

@EmmaShortis Australia is a bit player in supplying steel & aluminum to the US. Exports of steel at a similar level to aluminum. Together they represent just 2.4% of Australian exports to US & 0.12% of all exports. Chart from @adam_tooze

No information on the outcome so guessing it wasn't positive
This morning I had a great conversation with President @realDonaldTrump We committed to working constructively together to advance Australian and American interests, drive economic prosperity and face shared challenges. For decades, the Alliance between the United States and Australia has served the interests of both our nations, and supported peace, stability and growth in our region. I look forward to working closely with President Trump to create jobs and deliver benefits for both our nations.

@JGuy47 @TmalfosterTom @AbraLincoln09 @DrCameronMurray ACT govt doesn't dictate employment location except for its own workers. At 0.5m, Canberra is just too small to have 6 major centres (inc Queanbeyan), all of which apart from central Canberra are at risk of employers, mainly federal agencies, moving their workers to the centre
