My husband assessed level five. Told wait for package was 18 mths. He died after six mths. Kept him at home till end but always will feel I couldn’t do enough. Maybe with extra help...
16,000 older Australians have died, while waiting for a home care package. And rather than fix it, the Minister just wants to talk about formulas and “cause and effect”. These people are heartless.

I attended a function today where Member for Moncrief Angie Bell, referred to the homeless as “ unsightly people” before quickly pointing out that homelessness is a State issue not Federal. Shocked.
It is taking us longer than expected to roll out a story about Centrelink suicides. The truth is it is getting bigger the deeper we dive into it. We are getting quotes back from people involved in it with limited cooperation. It isn't far off now & it will be worth waiting.

Went to water aerobics with daughter. Tried to keep up with class. Did lots of arm stuff then arms killing me. Really were,had heart attack. With stents ok now.
No more water aerobics since but walk a lot. I had low BP,low cholesterol,not overweight.🤪

I think casualisation of the workforce is a big issue. Causes so many problems. Some can’t even get rentals on casual work let alone a bank loan for a house. Workers need security of employment.
Much being said about the jobs summit.
An issue that is ignored is the poor quality and capacity of Australian management. The Qantas cost cutting fiasco is a prime example. Executive bonuses and incentives that destroy jobs and reduce workers conditions must be examined!

My grandson in same boat but can’t find another place. Where do you go with your partner and two kids. I am so worried for them. Originally told the rental could be for about 5 years and they were so happy. House prices so high,many selling. Been there 3 mths.
My landlords decided to sell my rental with 3 months left on the lease and wanted an 8 week sales campaign of two inspections a week. They refused a rent reduction so we found a new place and gave 14 days notice and now they're upset they can't afford their mortgage. Poor things

I have a transgender granddaughter and as much as we all love and support her it is not what you want for your child. It is a very hard road for her. When she goes out alone,even shopping we fear for her safety and well-being. A long way for her to go yet.
I say this with all my heart. I’m so proud as a man and as a human being to interact with thousands of open minded people. So many of you wishing a young woman happy birthday on her first birthday as trans gender. It fills my heart with hope that love will conquer bigotry. 💜💜💜

I believe all of Dutton’s No campaign has been about the next Fed election. Nothing to do with FN people. What a dishonest person he is.
Michael Yabsley blames Albo for Dutton not supporting the voice.
It was a Labor election promise, and LNP Indigenous portfolio supported it, and helped legislate it.
