Recognised and managed post Extubation laryngospasm successfully with my colleague and junior. Being present in OT for more than a year does work on your reflexes. 💯

Guards at Civil Hospital are triggering me with new parking rules everyday.I am shuffling between Civil and 1200 bed and they won't let me park(4wheeler) anywhere near Civil.Clearly told me to park at 1200 bed because I'm not an AP/HoD and they dont have parking for resident 😑
When surgical team scolds the shit out of me for adding advices after 7 pm for elective cases posted next morning 🥲(PS -It's not me, It's saaheb's advice )
Second Awake craniotomy this month already.
Wasn't so sure of using Dexmedetomidine initially with baseline pulse of my pt being 56-58/min.Got great results with combined Effects of sedation, counselling and scalp nerve block however.
This is my last week of ICU rotation and I'd want this to end as soon as possible. I don't care about my interest in critical care .I as a PG1 Want to run away everyday from ICU .I HOPE THINGS CHANGE IN PG 2
Have not attended any puja or flag hoisting today. Being far away from home to get you somewhere in life comes with a price . Missing home today. And the feeling of being home. Happy vasant panchami and Republic day to everyone❤️
Somedays being outside is too much. Like if i dont run back to my room i would start going insane .i wonder if it's me running out of my social battery
Patient Doctor interaction is super rewarding.I only did PAC for a 2 yr old operated in neurosurgery. Her mom came up to me while i crossed ICU today telling me " Madam acche se ho gai surgery Asma ki " 💜🥹
One of those humbling nights when i'm getting pediatric patients back to back and looking at my seniors calculate every little thing there is . So so much to learn, so so much to read !!
Love how residency seems like day by day nothing changes and then one day you see your reflexes working to manage a ?high spinal with your hands acting faster than your brain 🥹
