The way Super Sonic acts in the movies is pretty interesting. Sonic, at least for the movies we all know is a bit of a goofball. Often not taking situations too seriously. However, Super Sonic here? Entire opposite.

Honestly? I’m really glad this movie is getting the overwhelming amount of positivity. I really do love these movies, and I want them to succeed. These movies aren’t perfect, nor are they an entirely 1 to 1 of the games. But that’s okay. It’s new. It’s different. It’s fun.

My favorite aspect of Sonic in Metal Virus’ arc was seeing how flawed and vulnerable he can be, and how he deals with those feelings. Sonic in this arc was pushed to his limits, and I believe this was a good step to take Sonic as a character.
