@gronagardar Läs Konsten att hugga träd och ha skogen kvar (finns gratis i pdf-form på nätet), och Skogspraktikan. Det är en bra början.

@deacondcon @AllanRSavory It isn't. It cannot be. Cattle (and other grazers) aren't alchemists. They cannot create carbon out of nothing. All they can ever do is cycle it.

@HolisticThug @bigfatsurprise Does it? How so? I've been on a carnivore diet for five years... no problems so far. In fact, my gut is better than it has ever been. And I know a bunch of other carnivores who have the same experience as I do.

@ForslinErik Hade gärna suttit där i solnedgången tillsammans med dig och surrat om livet och andra småsaker. 😊 Jag hade dock haft iskall cola zero i glaset. 😁

@SummonDarkness_ @ATEXTMESSAGE1 @jordanbpeterson That is not new. It has been known for a long time that carbohydrates are non-essential for humans.

@JonVandiver82 @jordanbpeterson 2) They had all the so called diseases of western civilization. Obesity, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, tooth decay. So I think it is reasonable to conclude that bread and other grain based foods are not fit for human consumption.

@JonVandiver82 @jordanbpeterson 1) The ancient egyptians ate a diet that would be a modern nutritionist wet dream. Plenty of whole grain foods (using unrefined ancient varieties of course), lots of veggies, some lean meats and no modern processed foods.

@drdairy50 @GHGGuru @FAOScienceChief @fleroy1974 @drsplace @Bovidiva @sustainablejuan Do studies like these take into account the carbon that would end up in the atmosphere whether it passed through a cow or not? And does it take into account the sequestration of carbon in soil when cattle are properly managed and out grazing on pasture?

@pran_dr I'm all for a concept that, directly translated from Swedish, in English would be Relationship Food. A concept where you have face-to-face relationships all the way from roots in the ground or hooves in the grass to food on the table for the end consumer.

@AbrahamAubry @SBakerMD The ratio may be off in that kind of meat, but the absolute amounts are small compared to nuts and seeds. Grass-fed and finished beef has a more favorable ratio... but the amounts are still small.
