Well that took FDA only 30 years. With more than 1,000 mostly untested GRAS chemicals allowed by FDA in our food, it's time food companies ask Congress to fund nutrition research, not block it.

@KCKlatt The political reality is that while other fields such as tobacco control have overcome their differences to enact effective regulation (youth smoking down from 25-<2%), nutrition has been busy grappling & has made zero progress on food caused chronic disease. Disruption needed.
