I get not being able to change mid-split, it forces GMs to make better decisions and better teams.
But not being able to make any changes until after champs, that is ROUGH
LCQ is your last chance to make a tourney and you can't make any roster changes, that's just stupid imo

It's not that easy, they don't want orgs to be able to just "skip" tier 2
They only do that for partnered orgs, the orgs that they deem stable and that invest into the sport.
This needs to be figured out properly, and now that we've shown we're not happy with their decision [1/2]

Yes this is clearly for newer players, that doesn't take away from the fact that it's (imo) a bad change.
New players get used to smokes dropping eventually, as in pretty quickly. It's not things like economy management, knowing enemy economy, etc. I kinda hate this change ngl

I like most changes riot makes, but I genuinely hate this change, being good at knowing smoke timings is a part of the skill ceiling and getting better.
Valorant is already babying (if that's a word) their playerbase with numerous things to lower the skill ceiling. No from me 🫤

I am having trouble finding the value in pro play to shake up the meta, the trip has 0 value on flank, so by default this agent cannot replace cypher and killjoy on their main attack reason
Feels like another harbor/gekko where it's niche and isn't designed to ever be meta
