Last night Ireland recommenced chartered flights to facilitate deportations. This was the first of such flights and will ensure we have a firm migration system. I thank the officials and Gardai who were involved in this operation.

Thank you to all who have made a huge effort to restore power to schools or to access generators. Almost all schools will reopen tomorrow as normal. Less than 10 schools remain without power and we are ensuring they get access to generators so they can reopen by Wednesday latest.
