Everton 2024 Shamrock Pre-Match Shirt ☘️
To honour Seamus Coleman’s 15 years at the club, Hummel released this stunning pre-match shirt
The front of the shirt displays a royal blue shamrock graphic, with a lovely added detail of Coleman’s iconic number 23 within the leaves

This is the greatest Everton shirt of all time
I love every single part of it
The baggy fit, the collar, the NEC sponsor, the tower on the neckline, the jacquard, the subtle touches of black, EVERYTHING

With Everton playing in their grey third kit tonight, let’s take it back to the first time the Toffees wore grey
The away kit during our greatest period and, just like it’s home counterpart, it’s one of the greatest Everton kits to ever grace the pitch

Bayern Munich 1995/97 home 🔴🔵
Bayern in red and blue has always been a match made in heaven and this one is the best of them all for me

Starting off strong, the 2020/21 shirts were simple, minimalist designs that let the smaller details do all the talking, with all shirts boasting nothing more than the iconic Hummel chevrons, as well as a clean piping detail on the cuffs

The away shirt took us all back to the 1960s & 70s by bringing back the iconic amber and blue
A neat blue collar accompanied this one, but again it’s simple, clean and let’s those gorgeous colours do the heavy lifting
Nice little “EFC” detail on the back neck too…

Now the away kit…
Fans had been crying out for a Black Watch inspired kit for a long time
So, up steps Hummel with an absolute stunner of a shirt
Gorgeously simple, with tonal badges that let the burnt orange sash do all the talking
Topped off with a nice retro style collar

PSG 2022/23 home 🔵🔴⚪️
The navy blue base hides the clunkiness of the current Nike template and allows that gorgeous Hechter stripe to do all of the talking
Central badges and small touches, like the French flag on the sleeve cuff, wrap up a classy example of keeping it simple

One final point on the 2020/21 kits…
Hummel used textured heat-pressed badges on the shirts
However, due to some fan complaints, they scrapped the heat-pressed badges in favour of embroidered appliqués
So, I just wanted to highlight how gorgeous these badges really were

It's such a strange combination, but at the same time it feels SO Everton
So I've mocked up a home kit that pays tribute to that
Also added a subtle touch of amber stitching through the kit to tie it all together

The 2004/05 season introduced us all to one of, if not THE, most iconic football kit templates of all time…

Charcoal details & a subtle pinstripe jacquard adds the finishing touches to another simple but gorgeous shirt, capping off a record breaking trio for Hummel’s debut season

The screaming is literally a basic close up and a wide shot for both. Like, how else do you want that to be shot?

Within the body of the shirt was a lovely jacquard that represented the sound waves of the club’s Z-Cars anthem

I’ll admit, a cream shirt with yellow and purple trim didn’t sound good on paper, but I couldn’t have been more wrong… It’s absolutely gorgeous

So, one thing that separates Hummel from other brands is the attention they put into goalkeeper kits to provide club’s with a bespoke design & not just a boring template
