Trophy Number 4! What can I say about Sevyelun that hasn't already been said? Only change I might make is that, partially since those Threads never came up anyway, I might just move the Repeals to the SB to make room for 8-Seas, since I liked Tideshaper but missed Spreading Seas.

Trophy number 2! Am I insane for playing 4 Shatterskull Smashings in addition to 4 Horizon lands? Only time will tell! This league wasn't recorded, not sure if I will do a replay of it, but this league went super smooth so it might make for a good watch!

I'm probably going to take a break from MTH for the rest of the year. I've got too much other stuff stressing me out and the stress of trying to maintain the trophy lead isn't worth it IMO. Don't worry if you like my videos though, I've still got lots of content already recorded.

Trophy number 3! I knew Saga Burn had what it took! Please disregard my other experiments with Saga Burn, I think this is finally close to a fully optimized list. It's a bit trickier than regular burn, but the upside is man oh man this is a Burn deck that rarely runs out of gas!

Trophy Number 11! I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is probably the best Mono Red Urza's Saga Midrange build, and dang, is it fun to play! No deck is perfect, but to me at least, I haven't felt like a list of mine was as clean as this feels in quite a while.

First Trophy of the Season! Been trying many different combinations of cards to best take advantage of Magmatic Channeler, and at long last, this might be it!

Just 5-0ed with Merfolk again! (Unfortunately didn't save the victory screen).
Main deck Chalice has been excellent, and I've really been liking how Copter helps cycle away extra copies. It feels like Prowess decks went from bad matchups to good matchups because of it.

Trophy Number 6 with Obosh... well can't call it Prowess anymore, guess I'll call it Mono Red Jund!
The Chanelers really do feel tailor made for this type of deck, as does Ragavan. Having this 24 Land, 12 Utility Land/12 Mountain package felt good too, especially with Channeler

Number 5! In a 6-way tie for 2nd place! I've been all over the place with builds now, but my reasoning this time was that I was tired of losing to combo decks, so I thought to myself "why don't we become the combo deck?" Belcher, eat your heart out, we're the real turn 3 deck!

Trophy number 3 (finally!) and who would have thought it would be both with a non-merfolk, non-mono-red deck, and in a 6 match league? (Not sure why MTGO nullified my only loss, guessing it had something to do with the server crashing). Indulgent Aristocrat was amazing!

Trophy number 12! Same list as the one I'm uploading videos of this week. So far I've been outgrinding basically everything with these Tourachs, Castles, and Lurrus (and sometimes Brutality discarding Bloodghasts). I'm concerned about hyper aggro, but hey, I beat UR Prowess too!

for reminding me about Bind the Monster, it has been excellent! Not sure if it or Dismember is better in the main (Seems good to be able to pitch it to FON). Either way, having 8 good removal spells available is great, and new for Merfolk!

4-1 with Lurrus-Merfolk. This actually feels tier 1. Only lost to Death Shadow with very good draws. Temples were A+ and great with Deprive. If I have the time this might be what I run in a tournament, although these latest forms of Obosh Prowess have also been killing it for me

1000K Subcribers, woo hoo! Hey, the first celebration is this ultimate 4-4-4-4... beauty I just went 4-1 with (yes I lost the last one from the league in the last post to a taxes deck). The Horizon lands felt great, they helped cast Lurrus and often were painless from Yavimaya.

! Tried a bat-shit crazy idea I just thought of and somehow 5-0ed with the first iteration of it! I present... Urza's Saga Burn! Maybe the secret to making Burn tier 1 was always just to load it with Modern Horizons 2 cards? Who would have thought! I guess we'll see!

! Went for max speed this time, but Valakut Awakening surprised me with how it helps convert extra lands into gas, and without Bomat or Pyromancer, I can hold extra lands waiting to draw it now!
Beat Mono R Prison, 4-Color Uro, UW Spirits, Belcher, and RW Burn.

Trophy Number 9! First league trying Zodiac Caverns, and they weren't bad. I rarely played them as a 2/2 creature, but they never color screwed me either with 20 red sources. I know from experience that the 4 Shatterskull Smashings help reduce flood, so these might be promising!

Alright here it is, 4-1 with Mono Blue "MUC" Control (went 3-2 in a previous league ). Bottom line is that Ratchet Bomb and Blast Zone do serious work controlling the board, so much so that it's possible other colors aren't necessary. (I also updated the Merfolk decks).

. I almost never cracked the Horizon lands, but I cycled the Forgotten Caves a lot, so I might run the next league without the Horizon lands at all. Aczino came the closest to ending my run playing the literal mirror, well played!

Trophy Number 38! Tied for 1st place again! It's a new year, so of course, I have a new list. Abbot has been insane... if only somehow it didn't conflict with Obosh. The main deck Relic was always OK, and sometimes insane... let's see if this new take continues to bear fruit!

Quick update on Merfolk, I've been experimenting with Damnation lately and I actually think it really might solve a lot of major problems for the deck, although it can be tricky to use correctly. Was hoping to share a 5-0 but my ability to focus on MTG is hampered at the moment.

Trophy number 9, first league in like almost two weeks and got another trophy running back this same list from the last 5-0 league, sweet!
Bridge really keeps Murktide in check, and isn't bad against Hammer Time either, felt pretty good having access to 4 of them!

Well whoever this Tweedle person is may have mastered my deck better than me lol. That's insanely impressive. Maybe maindeck Bonecrushers are the bee's knees after all. The format always shifts though of course. Surgical is fascinating too...

Trophy Number 10 with Merfolk! I've been loving playing 24 lands, now it's not such a big deal when they Prismatic Ending my Vial! Hall of the Storm Giants absolutely smashed E-Tron too. Ratchet Bomb is also insanely well placed now, it came in almost every match! (Still no LOA)

! I just realized, with both Seasoned Pyromancer and Fable in the deck, Blazing Rootwalla seemed kind of free. It wasn't 100% free, but it was close enough for my liking! My guess is Rootwalla is probably better than Unlucky Witness, but both have their advantages.

. Once again I 5-0ed with it on my initial outing. This version is admittedly ugly, but I believe I'm 17-4 with it, with 3 of those 4 loses coming from the literal worst matchup, AdNauseam. (The other is from the challenge I 0-1 dropped). Fanatic is better than it looks

Trophy number 14! I promise I'm not giving up on the Saga version, but I just couldn't resist seeing how far I could push this (exile the top of my library) theme. Needless to say, this deck never, ever runs out of gas. Ever.

Trophy number 16! I will admit though that I got one 4-1 and about 2 or 3 3-2s since the challenge, but the loses were all very close and I had different lines available. I am still getting the hang of using the new SB tech to it's max, so I still think this one might be best now

4 O-Stones! OK, probably 2 needles would have been better, but I will say this much, O-Stone completely dominates that Taxes and BGx matchups. Had to blow through all 4 against Taxes and had multiple discarded against BG Rock, so having all 4 did come in handy.

Trophy Number 5! Well, with Lurrus banned, maybe having 8 Relics isn't as necessary anymore, and shout-out to Stanley on YouTube who recommended Fable of the Mirror Breaker. Is it better than Chandra? Not sure, but it has a relatively high floor and a very, very high ceiling!

Tied for 1st place! Same version as last time, just playing Channeler in place of Abbot. One nice thing about Channeler is that in matchups like Humans (my last matchup), I felt comfortable siding in all 4 Blood Moons knowing I could pitch extra copies. Came in handy in game 2!

suggested replacing Giant with Fury, and he out MHayashi'd me in cutting sacred cows. Honestly the 3 drop slot was too crowded anyway, and Obosh + Fury = gg very often. I probably will cut those Spikefields for 4 more basics though.

Ok this is the second time I'm doing this, I will freely admit that I'm not as stoic as

or other players who resist the salt, so I don't like pointing fingers, but this control player was especially obnoxious. But maybe they are playing the heel? If so, very well played.

Trophy number 3, wow I was not expecting my first Chandra build to trophy to be "Obosh Sun and Moon Ponza/Midrange" but here we are. What started as a "I hate Amulet Titan" meme idea actually kind of seemed like it might bear fruit and next thing you know, I'm up one trophy.

Trophy number 4! Unholy Heat continues to impress, just too bad it's literally impossible to fit all of the good cards I've played in the past in each list. Also, between Living End, Hammer Time, Rhino-Falls, Affinity, Prowess, and others, Ensnaring Bridge feels well positioned!

I've been having a truckload of fun with this Yorion Merfolk variant. The non-Yorion variants seem surprisingly competitive too, but when Yorion does its thing, it's so satisfying, and even out-grinds an Uro deck on occasion! Getting closer and closer to a 5-0, just went 4-1!

Trophy Number 16! Went 5-0/10-0 for the first time in awhile, and went 4-1 with a virtually identical list last league (same list just Inquisition instead of Push, but only loss was to Hammer Time and felt like Push could help a lot in the early game). Blighting is nuts actually.

Back to back trophies, same list as about an hour and a half ago, and now I'm the trophy leader again, wow! These league matches felt a little off for the opponents, but they happened to be recorded, so anyone who is interested will be able to see!

Trophies Numbers 7 and 8! Good old Hammer is nuts too! It's even good without Ragavan apparently. In all seriousness though I think what's going on is that other midrange decks are popping up left and right and most of any variant of these Mono Red Midrange is well positioned ATM

Went 4-3 in the challenge. Disappointing again, especially since someone just earlier suggested that I'm not really a good magic player since I don't have any challenge wins and only 1 top 8 so far (with RW Prowess prior to the companion nerf). Hopefully I'll get there eventually

Trophy Number 1! (In a friendly league though). This time with Mono Black Obosh! Concealing Curtain exceeded ALL expectations, and was also a nice target for Inscription. I think this is the best Obosh version of Mono Black yet!

It happened again. Just trying Ratchet Bomb in place of K-Return, and . . . another trophy! Bomb was insane in the Shadow matchups as usual. I started winning those more often without it, but I think with both Pyromancer and Bomb, we are solid favorites, even if we lose Obosh.

Alright trophy number 7, and back on top of the leaderboard again! Not sure I will be able to continue playing as much as I am now to keep up, but either way it's been great to be at the top again!
Also Relic in the main actually felt good, so many decks use the grave these days

! Same list as last time, but with one small difference... and that small difference this league felt very smooth, since the overall curve was lowered quite a bit. Lots of control running around too and having more turn one creatures sometimes overwhelms their removal.

Trophy number 16! Well I promised that I'd return to Mono Red Urza-Bosh soon, and here I am back at it again! Wasn't expecting to trophy as soon as I picked it up again, but maybe that says something about the potential here! Deck is still such a blast to play, and powerful too!

DRC is great but, Relic has been killing it right now. Also I realized that Chalice is both great hate against Cascade AND Burn, and Chalice on 2 is pretty free!

Trophy Number 11! Finally got another trophy with a Saga variant! Can't fully vouch for Saga over maindeck moon, but I will say that in the matchups where Moon isn't as great and where the OP doesn't have a very solid plan for Saga, the grind power is real!

It's funny, seems like many people have a hard time understanding why I play mono color. I have a hard time understanding why not to. It never feels like I gain much by adding another color, but I do keep trying it when some new tech that's not available in one color pops up.

5th trophy this season! Went 4-1 then 5-0 with this list (actually the 4-1 run had 4 Lanterns but I decided to split them with Spellbombs because Dredge players are playing Pithing Needle now). 8-Counterspell Lurrus-Folk feels like it has game against almost everything.

for suggesting running 4 Sokenzans. Go figure, for once I was the one resisting playing something as a 4-of, but the legend rule is rarely an issue, and the extra gas (and minor anti-pro red aspect) are so huge, deck is almost pure gas

Narrowly missed the 5-0 in a 1-2 loss against Jund where a misplay possibly cost the game. I promise I'm not BSing, this pile of nonsense actually felt smooth. I'm 8-2 with this list so far (OK, the previous version had Harbinger instead of Trickster, but close enough I'd say).

I was hoping to have another 5-0 to post by now. Unlike previous dry runs, I'm actually getting lots of 4-1s, just can't get 5 wins at once. Since I'm 35-15 in leagues so far (switching between 2 Horizons/4 Caves/none), and it's been awhile, I thought I would share my recent list

OK I finally got Chandra, Dressed to Kill, and after one failed main deck Pillage version, went 4-1 with each of these lists. Only lost to some bad hands/luck vs. Esper Reanimator with the Obosh list, and against Belcher with the 8-Chandra list. Both felt vary strong, we'll see!

Lucky trophy number 12! The main-deck Blood Moons actually were great, and the Oblivion Stones in the sideboard came in multiple matchups and acted like a bigger Ratchet Bomb that didn't conflict with Obosh! The needles were mostly for Belcher, but helped a lot against taxes too!

Trophies numbers 4&5! Wow I was just messing around trying companionless lists (both w and w-o Saga) since I want Chalice and hate losing to Rhinos, was not expecting to a clean 10-0 in two surprisingly quick leagues!

with Mono Blue Sea&Sky! I tried some things the community adopted like black lands and whatnot, but somehow this good old configuration just works for me! Still special thanks for everyone continuing to develop this their own way, I did switch to SB Seas!

Tried something different and went all out on the utility lands. I will say this much, mana screw is pretty much a thing of the past now (unless I have Blood Moon out and Hammer gets exiled somehow).

Trophy Number 29. Not going to try to hide it, I was going through a really rough patch, not just mediocre challenge results, but mediocre to bad leagues too... but hopefully that's behind me. Just went back to basics this time, might have started burning out on trying new stuff.

Trophy Number 4 with Obosh Ponza! Shout-out to YouTube user Janshevik for encouraging me to give Strike it Rich another shot! With 4 Hammers, and 12 ways to pitch it, I literally always either had something to use the mana on, or a way to pitch it. Might be the next evolution!

Trophy number 12. Same Raga-Dragon list as before just playing LUTS instead of March since in this version, I apparently forgot that without LUTS there's no sorceries for delirium. Not 100% sure which is better between this version, the Chandra version, and the Fable version

Went 5-0 the previous league I played with this deck yesterday as well.
The format has been getting grinder, so I went back to Jegantha and Abbot briefly, but based on these results, I think Seasoned Pyromancer and Obosh might be the way to go.

! I've been feeling like all these one drop artifacts should in theory make a Saga variant the best non-budget build, and this league definitely backed that feeling up! Beat Murktide, Living End, Scam, Hammer Time, and another fair deck I forgot I think.

1st trophy of the new season! I previously said Burn was poorly positioned, but maybe I just didn't have the right build at that time. Ronin is nuts, pro red is nuts, and yes I forgot Bonecrusher conflicted with Lurrus, so Lurrus should be another Palm. Also not playing Mono Red?

Trophy Number 26! Well I had to try it again, and maybe it's because this time Ragavan can actually accelerate us to 3 for timely chalices and Tomord's Crypts, but Wish actually felt pretty darn good this time!

Number 18. Main deck Blast Zone has impressed so far, stole a game against Boggles in game 1 that I otherwise had no business winning. Also helped against the multiple Shadow decks I faced. Only issue is Blood Moon conflicts with it, so I benched Moon for now, but might go back.

Trophy Number 4! Another concept idea manages to trophy, that concept was "hey I remember trying to make Keldon Megaliths good a long time ago, shall we try to make them great again?"
While they ultimately just double down on the "out-grind the opponent" angle, they're not bad.

Oh snap, trophy number 7! Guess I initially wrote off the fetch-lands too soon, although I'm not 100% sure they were necessary. The Caves coming in tapped were annoying though and with Hammer I don't think I'm too concerned about mana flood, so I think I'll just use more basics
