@WarrenBingham @keeper_orchard Is it a regional word? I’ve read the word many times and recently heard an American history podcast host use it when he covered the colonial era. That was the first time I heard it pronounced. I can say with 100% certainty that word was not used in North Florida!

@ndrockfarmer @bmreadel @weedgirl24 @CraryAg There are some tobacco types that can be grown in a relatively short season. Most of them are cigar varieties. We’ve harvested them in a little as nine to ten weeks after planting. That’s about as fast as it goes!
