Very sorry to hear. He was a wonderful Bishop for Birmingham and spoke so forcefully on behalf of the City.
We are sorry to hear of the death of Bishop Mark Santer, who served as a Lord Spiritual from 1994-2002, when Bishop of Birmingham. This is an extract from his maiden speech in the Lords, given on 5/4/95. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
